About the Role
As a Technical Sales Representative, you'll be the face of our business, managing and expanding a portfolio of new and existing accounts. You'll work closely with customers on-site, identifying opportunities, solving problems, and delivering tailored solutions that drive value.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct regular on-site customer visits in line with the agreed call plan
* Achieve sales targets and contribute to trading margin performance
* Identify and develop growth opportunities through strategic planning
* Maintain optimal pricing levels to maximise profitability
* Monitor product sales performance and identify areas for improvement
* Build strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and timely delivery
* Respond to customer enquiries and resolve complaints effectively
* Support debtor management activities in collaboration with Accounts Receivable
* Provide product demonstrations and promote new offerings
* Monitor competitor activity and provide insights to management
* Maintain accurate customer records, call plans, and reporting
* Submit weekly call reports and ensure activity targets are met
About You
* Proven experience in sales and account management, ideally in Welding industrial, Metal Fabrication, manufacturing, or construction sectors
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Results-driven with a proactive approach to business development
* Ability to analyse sales data and identify opportunities for growth
* Strong organisational and reporting skills
* Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
* Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within the territory
