Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Load Handling: Transport long, heavy, and awkward loads safely, driving parallel to racks to load/unload without requiring wide turning radii.
* Yard & Warehouse Operations: Move materials securely across the facility, assisting with general warehouse, inventory, or stocktaking duties.
* Equipment Maintenance: Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and minor servicing (e.g., fluid checks), reporting mechanical issues to management.
* Safety Compliance: Adhere to all facility safety rules, traffic guidelines, and load weight limits to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
Essential Requirements & Qualifications
* Valid Certification: Must hold the appropriate high-risk work license or state-approved forklift certification (e.g., LF license or specific container side lifter accreditations like TLID0017 in Australia)
* Physical & Spatial Aptitude: Strong depth perception, spatial awareness, and the physical capability to perform hands‐on warehouse work..
* Documentation Skills: Basic computer or paperwork literacy to log goods in transit and track warehouse inventory.
* Reliable Transport
* Full Working Rights to work in Australia
* Able to obtain a clean National Police Clearance
* Able to pass a Pre - Employment Medical and Drug and Alcohol Screen
