Location: Caulfield, VIC, Australia, 3162.

Position: Senior Dietitian, Grade 3 - 0.6 FTE, part-time fixed‐term contract (12 months).

Closing Date: May 22 2026.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Dietitian with strong leadership and a passion for progressive neurological diseases and palliative care to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team at Calvary Health Care Bethlehem. Calvary Bethlehem is a subacute, publicly funded health service recognised as a leader in progressive neurological diseases and palliative care.

About The Role

You will provide clinical leadership and support to the dietetics team while delivering high‐quality clinical care to inpatient and outpatient services (32‐bed inpatient ward and State‐wide Progressive Neurological Disorders Service outpatient clinic). The role also involves participation in departmental quality improvement activities, education provision, and supervision of dietetic staff and students.

Responsibilities
* Provide clinical leadership and support within the dietetics team.
* Deliver high‐quality clinical care to inpatient and outpatient patients.
* Participate in departmental quality improvement activities and education provision.
* Supervise dietetic staff and students.
* Contribute to professional development opportunities.
What you bring
* Minimum of seven years clinical experience in a hospital setting, with at least three years of specialist experience.
* Patient‐focused approach to service provision.
* Experience with enteral nutrition and home enteral nutrition programmes; management in gastrostomy care desirable.
* Demonstrated clinical expertise, leadership, and particular specialist knowledge in progressive neurological diseases, palliative care, and oncology.
* Ability to undertake professional supervision and promote professional competence of other dietetic staff and students.
* Dietetic research and quality improvement skills, including strategic planning, data analysis, and project management.
* High level of communication and interpersonal skills, and proven ability to relate effectively to people at all organisational levels.
* High level written skills, with experience in policy and procedure development, implementation, and submission writing.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in Nutrition & Dietetics.
* Eligible for membership of Dietitians Australia (DA) and the Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) Program.
* Desirable: a relevant postgraduate qualification or working towards completion (minimum of Graduate Certificate).
