About the Role
This is a diverse and rewarding role combining Instructional Design & Resource Development with Traineeship Coordination and Learner Support activities.
You will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining engaging learning and assessment resources, with a strong focus on digital learning, learner engagement, compliance and continuous improvement.
You will also support traineeship administration, learner progression and stakeholder coordination across accredited programmes.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate traineeship administration activities and learner documentation through aXcelerate and associated systems
* Support training plans, employer resource assessments, learner progression and evidence tracking activities
* Liaise with learners, employers, trainers and Apprenticeship Network Providers (ANPs) regarding learner progress, engagement and documentation requirements
* Monitor learner participation, progression and outstanding evidence requirements to support compliant and timely completions
* Maintain accurate learner records and compliant document management practices across traineeship programmes outcomes
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
* Proven experience in instructional design and resource development
* Strong experience using Articulate 360, including Rise
* Experience using aXcelerate or similar learner management systems
* Excellent written communication, formatting and document design skills
* Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational capability
* Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
* Strong stakeholder engagement and administrative coordination skills
* Confidence managing learner communications and coordinating multiple training activities concurrently
* Strong digital literacy and confidence working across learning and business systems
Highly Regarded (but Not Essential)
* Development of Mining, Resources or Oil & Gas training resources
* Development of Business Services (BSB) training resources
* Traineeship or apprenticeship coordination experience
* Knowledge of the Australian VET sector, competency‐based training and compliance requirements
Essential / Highly Regarded Qualifications
* TAE Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent/superseded qualification)
* A BSB qualification at Certificate III level or above
* RII qualifications and/or industry experience within Mining, Resources or Oil & Gas
Applicants actively working towards these qualifications may also be considered where they can demonstrate relevant industry and/or VET sector experience.
