About the Position
Reporting to the Town Maintenance Coordinator, the Town Maintenance Officer is responsible for the maintenance, presentation and upkeep of Shire assets, including:
* Parks, gardens, ovals and public open spaces
* Road reserves and town infrastructure
* Operation and care of plant and equipment
* Slashing, mowing (including oval mowing), and general grounds maintenance
* Supporting waste services and other operational activities as required
* Occasional travel to other Shire towns
This is a physically active, hands‐on role working primarily outdoors in Pilbara conditions.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have experience as a plant operator or skilled Town Maintenance Officer, with the ability to work safely and efficiently in an operational environment.
Experience & Tickets
* HR Licence (essential)
* Plantoperation experience and tickets (skid steer, loader, backhoe, excavator highly regarded)
* Experience operating tractors
* Experience with slashing and oval mowing
You will also bring

* Ability to work outdoors in Pilbara conditions
* Good communication skills and a team focused attitude
