We're looking for an experienced professional to bring their skills to our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will provide exceptional non-clinical patient care, support the nursing team, and contribute to a positive patient experience. We offer a supportive environment where our teams work closely to achieve the best patient outcomes and high standards of care.About usEstablished in 2016, Gold Coast Private Hospital is a state-of-the-art, 340-bed facility located in the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct in Southport.With 22 operating theatres, Gold Coast Private Hospital offers a wide range of specialties including, but not limited to, 24/7 Emergency Care, Medical Services, Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), General Surgery, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care, and Oncology.Gold Coast Private Hospital is committed to continual growth, providing exciting opportunities and professional career pathways in healthcare.As a Theatre Orderly, your responsibilities will include:Patient assistance and transfers including the use of Wheelchairs, lifting machines and bed moversPreoperative preparation of the patient as per surgical VMO requirementsGeneral housekeeping duties e.g. cleaning beds, organising linen, restocking of equipment, and waste managementRemove dirty linen / ensure clean linen is readily availableOperate in line with WHS policy & proceduresDeliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patientsCultivating a hospitable and friendly environment for all patientsWork as an active team member to support all work tasks Authority to Work in AustraliaCert 4 Assistant in Nursing/patient services or working towardsExperience as an Orderly in a hospital environment preferredVaccination and serology records prior to commencementWorking with Children checkCommitment to service excellenceAbility to prioritise and organise work with minimal supervisionAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentHigh level attention to detailHealthscope, where career means more!No matter where you are at in your career, at Healthscope you can choose your own adventure.
