What you'll do
Bring your deep technical mastery to a role where your guidance shapes product direction and business outcomes. As a Senior .NET Architect, you will act as a trusted subject‐matter expert, advising stakeholders, influencing design decisions, and delivering high quality software across a product line. This role values strategic thinking, hands‐on architecture leadership, and collaboration across engineering, product, and operations teams.
Due to the secure nature of this role, we are needing candidates that have Australian citizenship with preference to those with security clearance.
Key responsibilities
* Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable .NET solution architectures aligned to business and technical requirements
* Translate business and functional requirements into detailed .NET-based solution designs
* Define system components, application frameworks, integration patterns, and database structures using .NET technologies
* Ensure architectural designs comply with security, performance, availability, and regulatory standards
* Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, developers, and technical teams to ensure alignment and seamless implementation
* Develop and maintain architecture artefacts including solution diagrams, technical design documentation, and guidelines
* Review and approve technical designs, coding practices, and implementation approaches for .NET-based solutions
* Guide development teams during the build, testing, and deployment phases, offering technical leadership and best practices
* Analyze architectural risks, dependencies, and trade‐offs to ensure optimal solution delivery
* Promote the adoption of modern .NET technologies, tools, and frameworks to drive innovation and efficiency
Here's what you need
* 5+ years' experience in .NET architecture, solution design, or senior technical roles specializing in .NET technologies
* Expertise in designing and building complex .NET application and integration solutions, including experience with .NET Core and .NET Framework
* Solid understanding of cloud platforms (Azure preferred), microservices, and application architectures within .NET environments
* Familiarity with database design, entity frameworks, and integration with third‐party systems
* Experience working within Agile and hybrid delivery environments
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement
* Experience producing clear and detailed technical documentation and diagrams
* Strong analytical, problem‐solving, and decision‐making skills
* Ability to balance business needs, technical constraints, and project timelines
* Proficiency in modern .NET tools, frameworks, and programming languages such as C#, ASP.NET, and MVC
* Australian citizenship with 3‐5 years of continuous residence
