Product Management Officer
Department: Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ)
Location: Parramatta, NSW, AU, 2150 (hybrid working arrangement)
Employment type – Ongoing full-time role
Salary – $113,574.00 - $125,719.00 per annum, plus superannuation and leave loading
Your role
This role works in the DCJ Digital Experience Unit. You'll publish and update content on DCJ websites and intranet, manage ticketing requests, support projects, and collaborate with developers, accessibility experts, project leaders and UX designers.
What you'll do
* Upload and maintain content on websites and intranet using enterprise CMS and service management platforms.
* Support stakeholders in managing publishing requests within timeframes and compliance requirements.
* Review web analytics, accessibility compliance and support requests for evaluation of digital products.
* Provide advice, technical support and training for content publishers.
* Offer day‐to‐day administrative and project support, develop and monitor project plans, coordinate resources.
* Draft project documents, status updates and reports.
What we're looking for
* Experience with content management systems (AEM, Drupal, or SharePoint) – preferred AEM or Drupal.
* Tertiary qualifications in information technology or related discipline or equivalent experience.
* Strong understanding of WCAG specifications.
* Ability to manage digital communication products in a large government organization.
* Experience managing content publishing queues and projects across stakeholders.
* Knowledge of government regulatory environment for digital communications, including security, accessibility, usability, compliance, brand management and procurement.
* Understanding of visitor analytics, SEO, metadata and UX design principles.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and a can‐do attitude.
* Strong relationship management skills across all levels.
