Human Resources Generalist Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This role will provide generalist HR support, advice, and coaching to employees and management across multiple sites.
* Provide HR support, guidance, and development opportunities to employees at all levels of the organization.
* Support the design, development, and execution of key HR initiatives that focus on building site capability, improving engagement levels, and people management.
* Contribute to the development, implementation, and monitoring of policies and procedures based on relevant legislation and contemporary HR management practices.
* Manage and execute day-to-day HR activities such as recruitment, organisational development, grievances, and counselling.
* Provide operational HR information and analysis relating to workforce profiles and trends, benchmarking data, and analysis advice.
Key Responsibilities
* HR Policy Development: Develop, implement, and review HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and best practice.
* Employee Engagement: Foster a positive work environment and improve employee engagement through regular communication, training, and development opportunities.
* Recruitment and Selection: Source, attract, and select top talent for vacant positions within the organisation.
* Performance Management: Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and develop plans to improve employee performance.
* Industrial Relations: Manage industrial relations by interpreting relevant Acts, Regulations, Awards, Agreements, legislation, policy, and procedures.
Requirements
* Human Resources degree or related discipline.
* Proven experience in HR generalist roles within operational environments.
* Strong business partnering skills, ability to influence individuals and teams across the customer base.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to connect and engage with people at all levels of the organisation.
* Demonstrated ability to inject passion and energy into tasks and projects while motivating others to do the same.
* Ability to inspire trust and confidence in the advice provided and deliver quality outcomes.
* Strong organisational and project management skills to deliver quality work within a fast-paced environment.
