About the role:
We're excited to offer an opportunity for a passionate and driven HR Advisor to become part of our team at our Tarpeena manufacturing site—just 20 minutes from Mount Gambier. This is a permanent, full-time role reporting directly to the HR Manager, where you'll play a key part in shaping the future of a growing and innovative manufacturing business.
In this role, you'll be more than just an advisor—you'll be a trusted partner to our leaders, providing expert guidance across all areas of HR. From ensuring compliance to driving engagement and delivering people-focused solutions, you'll have the chance to make a real impact every day.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Interpret scheduled monthly reporting and support leaders to proactively identify lead and lag indicators from reliable and available data sources to effectively manage engagement and performance.
* Ensure effective records management – file notes, variation of contracts etc.
* Participate in conduct investigations and lead simple matters such as safety breaches, use of mobile phones etc.
* Assist managers and member of the payroll team to effectively and accurately interpret the site enterprise agreement
* Support recruitment and talent function
* Coordinate site compliance training in a timely manner in consultation with the L&OD team
* Ensure consistent, timely and effective management of all employee file notes etc.
* Work with team leaders and leading hands to effectively manage employee behavioural expectations in line with agreed disciplinary and behavioural and leadership competency frameworks.
* Support site-based leaders to consistently apply the absence management processes in a timely manner
Qualifications and Qualities that you will bring to Timberlink:
* Degree or Diploma in Human Resources or equivalent
* 3+ years' experience in a HR Advisor or Co-Ordinator role
