About the role
Goondiwindi Betta Home Living is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team in Goondiwindi, QLD. As a full-time Electrician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of electrical installations, maintenance, and repair tasks to ensure the smooth and safe operation of our facilities and equipment.
What you'll be doing
* Conduct electrical inspections, troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components
* Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies
* Provide prompt and efficient electrical services to our customers
* Collaborate with the wider team to support the overall operations of the business
* Maintain detailed records and documentation of all work performed
What we're looking for
* Fully qualified Electrician with current Australian Electrical Trade Certificate and unrestricted electrician's licence
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Attention to detail and a commitment to safety
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a qualified electrician in commercial or residential settings
* Current full Australian driver's licence
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency
* Construction White Card and current First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
