Gladstone Ports Corporation (GPC) is at a significant strategic inflection point. It is implementing its new Strategy 2030 and undertaking a comprehensive restructure of its Executive Leadership Team to position GPC for the next decade of growth and transformation.
The Group Executive Information and Operational Technology is an exceptional enterprise leadership opportunity in one of Australia's most strategically important multi-commodity port operations. This Group Executive plays a key role in ensuring that GPC meets the expectations of its shareholders, customers, partners and stakeholders.
GPC is a public company incorporated under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth). Directors are appointed by the Governor in Council. Queensland legislation applies, and there are two shareholder Ministers (Minister for Transport and Minister for Finance). There is a strong appetite for business cases that support innovation and operational reform.

Role Accountabilities
The Group Executive will be accountable for GPC's end-to-end information and operational technology environment, customer service delivery, digital channels, data and cybersecurity. A key priority is to rapidly mature digital and technology capability while reducing system complexity.
Reporting to the recently appointed CEO, you will join an organisation committed to operational excellence. This is an ideal environment for a forward-looking executive with a strong record of leading change that has transformed business capabilities and delivered innovation aligned to business needs.
You will bring whole-of-enterprise leadership experience in industrial and operational environments such as transport, logistics, infrastructure, utilities or health with multi-site operations and diverse workforces. A strong understanding of critical infrastructure and business continuity and 24/7 operations is essential.
As a collaborative, values-driven leader, you will be calm and resilient, and decisive with a customer-first focus. Tertiary qualifications in technology, engineering, science or a related discipline are expected, and postgraduate qualifications will be highly regarded.
