Associate Field Service Engineer

Location: Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia

At Stryker, we're looking for hands‑on graduates or early‑career technicians who are ready to grow into a Field Service career based on the Sunshine Coast, supporting customers across the region (with occasional travel to Brisbane and surrounds). This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, works independently, and wants to build a meaningful career in healthcare technology.

As an Associate Field Service Engineer, you'll service, maintain, and support a range of medical devices and surgical equipment. You'll work with a supportive team, gaining real‑world experience while contributing to equipment reliability that directly supports patient care. This role offers autonomy, regular travel, and the chance to build trusted relationships with healthcare practitioners across the healthcare system.


Responsibilities

* Supporting preventative maintenance, repairs, and servicing of Stryker medical equipment at customer sites
* Troubleshooting technical issues across a range of devices and learning to operate in clinical environments
* Build and maintain strong relationships as you develop into a trusted technical partner
* Managing your daily schedule and growing your capability to work independently
* Working closely with experienced Field Service Engineers who will mentor and support your development
* Completing accurate service documentation and learning relevant compliance processes


Qualifications

* Recent graduates or early‑career candidates with technical qualifications in engineering, electronics, mechanical, biomedical, electrical, IT, mechatronics, or related fields
* Solid hands‑on technical aptitude: you enjoy taking things apart, fixing them, and understanding how they work
* Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with people
* A proactive mindset, eagerness to learn, and comfort working in fast‑paced environments
* A valid driver's licence
* Willingness to travel across the Sunshine Coast region
