Operations Co-Ordinator - (9 day fortnight)
This is a full-time position for someone with management experience, operating on a 9 day fortnight rotation located in Bunbury, WA 6230. As the Operations Coordinator at South West Compressors, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the workshop and onsite maintenance operations, ensuring efficient and effective production processes.
What you'll be doing
* Scheduling and coordinating work assignments for workshop technicians and staff
* Monitoring workflow and production targets to identify and resolve bottlenecks
* Collaborating with the inventory officer to order parts and supplies as needed
* Providing guidance and support to technicians to improve productivity and efficiency
* Generating detailed reports on performance and metrics via our Aroflo workshop management system
* Training will be provided on Aroflo workshop management system for successful candidates
What we're looking for
* Successful candidate must have valid mechanical qualifications
* The role involves primarily coordination duties
* Proven experience in a similar workshop coordinator or production planning role
* Minimum 2-3 years of workshop coordinator or production planning experience is required
* Candidates with similar operations or production roles will be considered acceptable for the experience requirement
* Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with technicians, managers and other stakeholders
* Proficient in using production management software and data analysis tools
* Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues quickly
* Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment
* Australian permanent residency or citizenship is required for this position
