About The Position
Our Wests Cardiff site is currently seeking a casual Bistro Server to join the team. This opportunity is responsible and key to our front of house and back of house operations to our catering department. You will provide outstanding customer service across our Bistro – The Kitchen, and Espresso Gelato food outlets.
Provide friendly and efficient service to members and guests
Assist with clearing, cleaning and scullery
Operating and balancing of tills
Food and beverage preparation
Preparing hot and cold beverages – Barista
Ensuring hygiene and safe food handling practices are followed
This position will require availability for split shifts for lunch and dinner service. Availability for work on Friday nights, weekends and good availability through the week is a must.
As part of the Wests Group recruitment and assessment process, all candidates progressing to the next stage will be required to complete relevant due diligence and probity checks specific to the role. This includes, but is not limited to, a Criminal History Check, reference checks, and right to work verification via our company portal. All associated checks and costs will be facilitated by The Wests Group.
About You
You are someone who can work under pressure while at all times ensuring that our current high standards are met. Previous experience in a similar catering operation or fast food chains is desirable. Along with good work ethics, you will have the ability to work in a team environment and excellent interpersonal skills. Your excellent customer service skills and problem solving ability will have you thriving in this position.
