About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead High Voltage electrical operations across our Centrals assets. This is a critical leadership role responsible for the safe, reliable and compliant operation of HV infrastructure (132/33kV) supporting mining and processing activities. Reporting to the Electrical Superintendent – HV Central, this role is a FIFO on a 7/7 Dayshift only roster. You will provide frontline supervision and strong safety leadership to electrical personnel while coordinating planned maintenance, breakdown response and improvement initiatives across central facilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain a high-level working knowledge of BHP procedures and safety processes.
* Take a proactive role in maintaining appropriate standards of behaviour including ability to hold team members to account.
* Provide day‐to‐day supervision of HV electrical activities across HV assets.
* Ensure all work complies with statutory requirements, site standards and electrical safety management systems.
* Plan, coordinate and execute maintenance, inspections and fault‐finding on HV networks and equipment.
* Mentor, coach and develop personnel.
* Manage contractors and ensure compliance with site safety and quality standards.
* Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, reliability strategies and shutdown planning.
* Maintain accurate documentation, permits and compliance records.
Qualifications
* WA A grade Electrical Licence (essential)
* Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor qualification (essential)
* Unrestricted C class driving licence
* 1SAP/FIORI, planning and work management experience
* Strong safety leadership and safety event management experience
* Positive and motivated people leader with a focus on culture
* Proven leadership experience in mining or heavy industry
