IT Support and Applications Officer
Position at Patterson Cheney Cars and Trucks (Keysborough).
Provide exceptional service to over 500 users.
About the Role
You will report to the IT Manager and be afforded a high level of responsibility.
You must have excellent capabilities in supporting our staff with technical issues.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to support requests received in person, via phone, email, and internal ticketing systems.
Understand the level of disruption caused by issues and respond appropriately to ensure timely resolution.
Communicate with staff regarding resolving issues and any available workarounds while problems are resolved.
Work with other staff in the IT team to ensure issues are being addressed, but not double-handled.
Set up new equipment as required by staff.
Maintain user access to IT systems, including for new staff, staff who change roles, and staff who leave.
Provide feedback to the IT Manager regarding issues raised to prevent future occurrences.
Provide on-site support and remediation of IT issues across all sites.
Qualifications & Skills
Relevant IT certification or equivalent experience.
Experience supporting a large and complex organisation.
Strong communication and service delivery mindset.
Good phone manners, presentation skills, and ability to communicate with stakeholders.
Technical requirements:
Windows Server Administration (AD, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
Extensive Windows desktop support for Win 7, 10, 11.
Microsoft 365, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams, Microsoft Entra ID.
Experience with Mobility, Remote Access, Networking and Cyber Security.
Experience supporting printers, peripherals, iPhone/iPad, etc.
PowerShell proficiency.
VOIP support.
Preferred: Car dealership experience, Pentana/ Revo/ Tune support, certifications in MCP, MCSA, MCSE.
Additional Requirements
Occasional travel to various sites across Melbourne will be required; must have a current Australian driver's licence.
