Your new role
As the Production Superintendent, you will lead day-shift mining operations to ensure production, quality, and safety targets are achieved. You will provide high-level leadership to Supervisors and crews, ensuring operational efficiency and alignment with site and client expectations.
* Oversee daily production to achieve operational and quality targets
* Lead and mentor Production Supervisors and crews across day shift operations
* Ensure effective resource allocation, equipment availability, and operational continuity
* Work cross-functionally with maintenance, technical, and client teams
* Drive a culture of continuous improvement and safety leadership
* Ensure compliance with site safety, environmental, and statutory requirements
What you'll need to suceed
* Previous experience as a Production Superintendent in an open cut mining environment
* Strong leadership and people management skills within contract mining operations
* Proficiency with heavy earthmoving equipment and mine production systems
* Current Drivers Licence
* Competency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* A proactive, collaborative mindset and dedication to high performance and safety
