Conphone Pty Ltd trading as Casphone has been providing professional ICT and electronic device services across Queensland for over 16 years. Our business specialises in the repair and maintenance of mobile phones, tablets, laptops, and computer systems, as well as the supply and resale of electronic devices including desktops, laptops, mobile phones, iPads and its accessories. We also deliver ongoing IT support and maintenance solutions tailored to business clients.
Due to continued business growth and increasing customer demand for repair and technical support services, we are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Hardware Technician to join our team at Morayfield Location. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Install, set up, test, and maintain computer hardware, peripheral devices, and related ICT equipment including desktops, laptops, printers, POS systems, and barcode scanners
* Diagnose faults and technical issues relating to computer hardware and associated systems, and carry out repairs or replacements where required
* Provide onsite and remote technical assistance to clients and end users
* Upgrade and maintain hardware components including storage devices, memory modules, processors, and power supplies
* Conduct routine preventative maintenance and system checks to ensure optimal performance and minimise equipment downtime
* Troubleshoot hardware-related issues and provide users with technical guidance and support
* Coordinate with suppliers and service providers regarding equipment procurement, warranty matters, and technical support services
* Respond to customer enquiries, service requests, and support tickets in a timely and professional manner
* Prepare service reports, repair documentation, invoices, and job records
Skills and Experience Required:
* Minimum of 3 years' relevant work experience as a Hardware Technician or in a similar role
* Demonstrated ability to diagnose, repair, configure, and test ICT hardware and related equipment
* Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
* Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
