* Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of security best practices into every stage of the software development lifecycle.
* Work proactively to identify vulnerabilities, assess risk, and provide policy guidance on secure code review and best practices.
As a Senior Application Security Engineer, you will be responsible for:
* Reviewing the platform's codebase to identify security issues and working with engineers to develop more secure solutions.
* Partnering with product and engineering teams to assess risk and provide guidance on secure coding practices.
* Advocating for security architecture best practices across the organization, including secure configuration and deployment of new infrastructure and services.
* Continuously testing applications both internally and externally.
* Staying up-to-date with the latest threats and attack techniques and how they apply to our platform.
* Managing third-party application security reviews and penetration tests.
* Setting standards for identity and access management across the platform.
* Reviewing use of cloud providers, identifying risk areas, and mitigating them.
What We're Looking For

* In-depth understanding of common attacker tools and techniques, as well as how to exploit insecure development practices.
* Experience with vulnerability assessment tools.
* Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
* Additional training, certifications, or history of responsible disclosure is highly valued.
