About the Role
We are currently seeking a Systems Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across finance, systems, reporting, and process improvement within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Working closely with Finance, Payroll, IT, and Operations teams, you will play a key role in supporting and improving our financial systems, maintaining data integrity, and helping drive efficiencies across the business.
What you'll be doing
* Manage and support the company's finance systems, including Acumatica (ERP)
* Assist with system improvements, upgrades, and process automation
* Maintain accurate financial data, reporting, and system integrity
* Support month-end reporting and financial processes
* Troubleshoot system issues and provide support to internal teams
* Develop and improve financial reports and dashboards
* Work closely with Finance, Payroll, IT, and Operations teams
* Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and streamline processes
* Maintain and review standard costs of raw materials, labour, and overheads
* Assist with inventory valuation and reconciliation
What we're looking for
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
* Previous experience in a Systems Accountant, Finance Systems, or similar role
* Strong understanding of accounting and financial processes
* Experience using ERP or accounting systems – previous experience with MYOB Acumatica is highly advantageous
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Advanced attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
* Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments
* Intermediate to advanced Excel and reporting skills preferred
