Applecross Senior High School invites applications for a Facilities Resource Coordinator who will coordinate day‐to‐day operations, maintenance, and safety of the school's facilities, grounds and amenities, including specialist areas such as the school pool and tennis courts.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the Manager Corporate Services to ensure learning environments are safe, functional and well maintained.
* Supervise the Gardener/Handyperson team, providing guidance and supporting effective delivery of grounds services and minor maintenance works.
* Plan and monitor planned and reactive maintenance, support asset management and lifecycle planning, liaise with contractors and trades, and maintain accurate records, maintenance schedules and compliance documentation.
* Assist with budget monitoring, process invoices and support facilities‐related funding submissions.
* Maintain a strong focus on Occupational Health and Safety compliance and building standards, respond efficiently to facilities‐related enquiries and deliver high‐quality customer service.
Qualifications and Experience
* Relevant experience coordinating facilities maintenance and asset management.
* Experience in project management is highly regarded.
* Strong organisational skills, ability to work autonomously and take pride in maintaining welcoming, well‐kept environments.
* Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety as it relates to facilities and asset maintenance.
Eligibility
* Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or holder of a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of appointment.
* Must obtain a Working With Children Check before commencing.
* Must consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before commencing.
