The Company
Our client is an Australia base company focusing on B2B freight solutions from interstate, air, road and rail freight. This company manages freight from customer service, IT, KPI reporting, integrations with ERP systems and building solid partnerships!
The Role
Within this role you will manage clients and drive partnerships, the duties include:
Developing strategies to retain and grow the portfolio of clients
Proactively monitoring late deliveries and lodging inquiries with the carriers
All jobs to be updated and notes to be entered into the system in a timely fashion
Quoting specialised/ sensitive or high value jobs
Intercepting booked consignments and advising clients on the best transport provider for the job i.e., better options - cost or quicker ETA
Entering jobs into the system accurately and in a timely fashion in line with invoicing/ reconciliation requirements
Miscellaneous admin and data entry duties/printers, sending invoices to the accounts team and supporting the business team

Comfortable to drive sales
Experience with general accounts duties
Experience with building relationships
Experience with account management is desirable
Experience with logistics is desirable
