About the role
We are seeking experienced Signals Technicians to join our high-performing Signals team, responsible for maintaining and enhancing critical rail signalling assets - including the world's first fully autonomous heavy haul rail system, AutoHaul.
Based in Dampier, this role is available on a residential or FIFO basis, working a 4 days / 4 nights / 6 off roster, offering a great balance between work and lifestyle.
Reporting to the Signals Supervisor, you will:
* Safely execute planned maintenance and inspections on train control signalling systems and associated communications
* Identify faults and deliver permanent, reliable solutions
* Support Rail Network Renewal projects and improvement initiatives
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance processes and system performance
* Maintain strong communication with key stakeholders including Train Control, Rail Operations, and Engineering
About you
* A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
* A Grade WA Electrical License (or equivalent)
* Certificate IV in Rail Signalling
* Current Manual 'C' Class Driver's License
* Experience in Rail Signalling
* Excellent communications skills; and proven ability to interact with all levels of personnel.
* Demonstrated commitment to safety procedures and systems
It will also be beneficial if you have:
* Knowledge of Vital, Radio, or IP-based communications systems
* Understanding of work management principles and experience working with SAP
