How you will contribute to our mission in getting Australia to space
* Program Planning: collaborate with leaders to confirm scope, timeframes, resourcing, and budget for future work packages; facilitate monthly planning sessions to refine near‐term packages and add detail in scope, start/finish dates, resourcing and budget; contribute to workforce planning by assigning employees to schedules and providing data for the workforce system.
* Program Scheduling: develop new vehicle and satellite schedules down to Tier4/Stage/Sub‐system level; refine existing schedules down to Tier5/6 level while ensuring accurate scope, timings and employee allocations; facilitate weekly schedule progress updates and incorporate status into the schedules.
* Program Performance Management: extract data to generate program performance charts for weekly reviews; support trend analysis of scheduling, resourcing, risks and issues; conduct what‐if analysis of current schedules to aid business decisions.
* Software Tools Management: support PM software tools, ensuring interfaces and data synchronization between IMS, work management and production planning systems.
Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Experience
* Extensive experience (5+ years) developing and maintaining technically complex, multi‐disciplinary program schedules.
* Proficient in project scheduling software tools such as MSProject, OPP, Primavera.
* In depth understanding of project management knowledge areas: scope and requirements definition, planning and scheduling, budgeting, resource management, risk and quality management, stakeholder management.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Desired Qualifications, Skills and Experience
* Formal qualification in project management.
* Experience with work management tools such as JIRA and the integration of that system into an Integrated Master Schedule.
