About the role
The current sub‐level cave at Northparkes offers a solid 10‐year mine life, including five years of development mining. Evolution Mining has a pipeline of future projects that will extend operations for another decade. In this residential role you will support underground operations, ensuring smooth functioning of ventilation, water, power, ground support, and compressed air systems. You will collaborate with the Shift Supervisor and operate logistics and stores trucks, maintaining safety and executing maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities
* Carry out ventilation, water, power, ground support and compressed air tasks.
* Assist colleagues and work under the Shift Supervisor as needed.
* Maintain and install mine services infrastructure such as roadways, air, water and cables.
* Operate logistics and stores trucks, moving explosives, ground support gear and other materials.
* Prioritise safety, identify risks and work in compliance with procedures.
* Demonstrate Evolution values in every shift.
About you
You are a reliable team player who embraces hard work, has experience in underground operations, and possesses the required tickets and licences.
Qualifications
* Based in Parkes or willing to relocate.
* Minimum 12 months experience in a similar underground role.
* Working at Heights ticket.
* Security clearance to handle explosives.
* Safety‐focused mindset – non‐negotiable.
* Current "C" Class Australian Driver's Licence.
