About Our Client And Company
Our client is a tier one national fire contractor seeking multiple passive fire tech roles for newly landed major service contracts. The company offers longevity, plenty of OT, career growth into team leader roles and a supportive culture.
Responsibilities
* Manage/assist with key customers' fire service needs.
* Test, repair, and install fire doors and passive penetrations to fire & security standards while exceeding customer service expectations.
* Assist in growing our sales, increasing market share, and improving profitability.
* Survey customer premises and recommend fire protection and safety systems and equipment.
* Manage and maintain all assigned company property, including documents, tools, equipment, vehicles, product, etc.
* Comply with all company policies, procedures, and processes in accordance with our clients' needs.
* Attend all scheduled training programs; in‑house training will be provided.
* Maintain best‑in‑class customer service.
* Provide technical assistance/backup for on‑call technicians.
Selection Criteria
* Australian Citizenship or Australian Permanent Resident (PR).
* Hold or be able to obtain a Queensland Building and Construction Commission License (QBCC).
* Have base trade as a carpenter.
* Have up‑to‑date product and industry knowledge – Australian Standards, passive and fire door.
* Current driver's licence.
* Able to undergo and pass a National Police Check.
