Test Analyst - Automation – NSW Government
Day Rate: Up to $850 + Super.
ASAP to June 30th 2026. Hybrid 50/50: Eveleigh & WFH. Tools: Microsoft Playwright | Web | Jira.
Role
The role is to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Microsoft Playwright for up-to-date web applications in a flagship project for a forward-thinking government department.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Microsoft Playwright.
- Participate in test planning, analysis, and design activities.
- Conduct functional, regression, end-to-end, and cross-browser testing.
- Contribute to and maintain the test automation framework and reusable components.
Desirable skills / Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in test automation, preferably with Playwright.
- Strong programming skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.
- Understanding of accessibility testing including WCAG would be highly desirable.
