Lead audit quality across Australia and New Zealand
As National Technical Audit Quality Manager, you will be at the forefront of audit quality innovation – leading change, strengthening capability, and advising teams across the HLB Mann Judd Australasian Association.
This is not a typical technical role.
You will play anational leadership rolewhere your expertise directly shapes how audits are performed, ensuring they are not only compliant but efficient, innovative, and impactful.
Working with Partners, technical champions, and audit teams, you will develop tools, solutions, and training that make a real difference.

What you'll do
As a key member of the HLB Mann Judd Australasian team, the main objective is to lead continuous improvement initiatives in Audit Quality across the Australasian Network.
In addition, the role will provide support to our Audit & Assurance teams in Australia and New Zealand by strengthening audit capability across the organisation through learning programs, development of tools, resources and technical consultation.
Main Duties
Develop and execute an annual work plan in consultation with the Australasian Audit Committee, Director – Network Risk & Quality, and Director – Financial & Corporate Reporting to support audit teams to consistently carry out high-quality audits.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Consulting with nominated technical champions for each office to identify challenges and opportunities
Providing guidance and solutions for new standards and quality initiatives
Maintaining and enhancing audit methodology, templates, and tools
Leveraging technology to improve audit efficiency
Assisting with the development and delivery of learning activities
Providing advice on complex issues and opinion formulation
What you'll bring
We are looking for someone who thrives at the intersection oftechnical excellence and practical problem-solving.
CA / CPA qualification with 6+ years' audit/assurance experience
Strong knowledge of Auditing Standards and their application
Technical role experience (advantageous, not essential)
Innovative, proactive, and able to balance competing priorities
Excellent presentation, communication, and problem-solving skills
