What youll do (but not limited to)
* Ensure the project achieves its training policy targets regarding the engagement of apprentices, trainees, and other workforce training in line with the Queensland Building and Construction Training Policy.
* Overall accountability for reporting requirements, including uploading of the Skills Development Plan, monthly training hours and the Practical Completion Report.
* Act as the primary liaison for training and development opportunities with internal and external stakeholders.
* Responsible for rolling out employment programs to generate new entrant trainees to the industry and continue to provide guidance and support throughout the lifecycle of the program.
What youre good at
We are seeking a dedicated Training and Social Outcomes Advisor to spearhead our workforce training and upskilling initiatives in alignment with the Queensland Government Building and Construction Training Policy.
* Driving the achievement of training policy targets, ensuring sufficient engagement of apprentices, trainees, and workforce training.
* Exhibit accountability in collating evidence for compliance audits, maintaining training management plan procedures, training registers, and overseeing day-to-day training coordination.
* Ideally 3 years as a Training Advisor or Training Coordinator in the construction or heavy industry sector.
* Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and a proactive attitude and approach to driving training outcomes on-site.
