Role Overview
As a dedicated professional, this position plays a pivotal role in preserving and promoting cultural heritage. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for the corporation and the community.
The successful applicant will be responsible for coordinating and delivering heritage surveys, consultations, monitoring, and cultural mapping activities. This will involve working closely with internal and external stakeholders, including traditional owners, elders, and other key partners.
* Develop and implement strategies to ensure heritage activities are carried out in a timely and culturally respectful manner.
* Assist in preparing logistics plans, rosters, and budgets for fieldwork.
* Participate in on-country fieldwork, supporting traditional owners and other stakeholders as required.
* Record field observations and provide accurate notes and information for reporting purposes.
* Contribute to the preparation of correspondence, consultation notes, and field reports under the direction of the heritage coordinator.
