We are passionate about improving communication, health and well-being for both children and adults. Our multidisciplinary healthcare clinics provide our clients with speech and occupational therapy services all in one convenient location.

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for dedicated Occupational Therapists to join our expanding multidisciplinary team in Ipswich. This full-time role offers diversity, professional growth, and the chance to make a real difference in the community.

In this role, you will work with a stimulating and diverse caseload, supporting both children and adults with neurological, sensory, developmental, and physical challenges. You’ll deliver tailored therapeutic interventions across clinic, school, home, and community settings, supporting clients to achieve their individual goals and maximise their independence.

We place a strong emphasis on clinical support, with regular supervision and a collaborative team environment that encourages learning, feedback, and innovation.

Day-to-day will include:

- Support families in navigating and understanding the NDIS framework to empower informed decision-making.
- Design, implement, and regularly review individualised therapy programs tailored to client goals and needs.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation in accordance with professional and organisational standards.
- Collaborate effectively with clients, families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.
- Administer both standardised and informal assessments and prepare detailed functional reports to support interventions and funding applications.
- Evaluate home and educational environments to recommend and prescribe appropriate assistive devices, modifications, and equipment aligned with funding criteria.
- Deliver relevant education and resources to clients, families, and support teams to enhance understanding and therapeutic outcomes.

Requirements:

- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Current AHPRA Registration.
- You'll bring exceptional communication, computer, and time management skills with the ability to self-motivate.
- Current driver's licence and have access to own transport.
- Eligible for a Medicare provider number.
- National police check (or be eligible) and a valid Working with Children Check (or be eligible).
- Current CPR & First Aid certificate.
- Demonstrated knowledge of learning difficulties, sensory processing difficulties, motor skills difficulties, and child development.
- Enjoyment in delivering goal-oriented and exciting therapy services to clients in a clinic, school, and home setting.
- Experience in paediatric Occupational Therapy is highly desirable but not essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $43.00 – $56.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
