What You'll Do
* Own infrastructure stability and performance, keeping networks, systems, and venue tech running reliably day‐to‐day
* Act as the senior escalation point, stepping into complex issues and driving them through to resolution quickly and confidently
* Turn recurring issues into permanent fixes, leading root cause analysis and embedding smarter ways of working
* Lead incident response, coordinating people, communication, and recovery to minimise disruption
* Deliver infrastructure improvements, including upgrades, renewals, and roadmap initiatives that strengthen performance and resilience
* Partner with the Help Desk and business teams, improving service quality, response times, and user experience
* Own vendor relationships, ensuring quality delivery, accountability, and strong outcomes
* Lift operational maturity, improving documentation, SOPs, and processes to reduce risk and build capability across the team
* Mentor and support your direct report, building capability and creating a strong, collaborative team environment
What You've Got
* 5+ years' experience in infrastructure or systems environments, with strong hands‐on technical capability
* Solid knowledge of networks, servers, and on‐prem infrastructure, ideally in multi‐site or distributed environments
* A natural problem solver, confident diagnosing issues and driving root cause resolution
* Experience working with ITSM practices (incident, problem, and change), bringing structure and control to delivery
* Clear and confident communication, able to translate technical issues into real business impact
* Experience supporting or mentoring others, with a collaborative, low‐ego leadership style
* Strong ownership mindset, taking accountability for outcomes, not just tasks
* A proactive, solutions‐focused approach, always looking to improve systems, processes, and team capability
* Organised, proactive and adaptable; comfortable juggling changes and projects
* Proven ability to build and manage relationships with different stakeholders
* Comfortable working in a fast‐paced, multi‐site environments ideally with exposure to hospitality or retail
* A burning desire to show what you've got and what heights you can take the business!
