Key Responsibilities
* Scheduling and implementing patching and deployment of new and end‐of‐life systems in a 24/7 production environment with minimal impact (e.g., network switches, servers, SCADA servers).
* Monitor emails and logs, backups, network gear, and vulnerability scans.
* Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.
* Provide technical support for infrastructure hardware and software.
* Participate in an on‐call roster.
Job Requirements
* Certificate in IV in Information Technology.
* Good knowledge and experience with Windows 10/11 and Windows Server 2016 and above.
* Good Microsoft Office / O365 skills.
* Must have a valid driver's license.
* Good PC and server hardware knowledge.
* Experience with Cisco network devices, wireless networks, and type‐1 hypervisors would be highly regarded.
* Good teamwork and communication skills.
* The ability to work alone on tasks in a proactive manner.
* Good judgment with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
* Demonstrated ability to work safely.
* Outstanding customer orientation, i.e., the ability to build rapport and trust quickly and influence an audience through communication to arrive at the best solution.
* Excellent English written and verbal communication skills (active listening and ability to clearly summarize an issue in writing and verbally).
* Ability to read and write English ticket reference information on the Incident Platform.
* Excellent problem‐solving skills, i.e., ability to apply a highly logical and well‐organized approach to analyzing and resolving issues.
