Responsibilities
The Clinical Nurse is responsible for providing clinical leadership, critical thinking and direct care to patients throughout the patient journey in a custodial setting.
* Provide direct nursing care to patients with routine, urgent and chronic disease health conditions.
* Deliver health promotion and education, preventative health and immunization services.
* Respond to emergencies and manage medication administration.
* Manage nursing care delivery using well‐developed skills and lead multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications
* A current registration in the category of Registered Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
* Demonstrated skills and experience in a senior level clinical nursing practice.
* Australian or New Zealand citizen, or hold Australian permanent residency, or have a valid working visa for Australia.
* For permanent positions in the West Australian Public Sector, must be an Australian citizen or hold permanent resident status in Australia.
