Job Description
The Return to Work Coordinator will play a key role in helping employees recover and return to work successfully.

You will be responsible for managing workers' compensation claims, injury management, rehabilitation, and return-to-work programs in partnership with our insurer.
From supporting recovery to coordinating programs for non-work-related injuries and illnesses, you will help create a safe and supportive workplace for all.
* Develop and implement frameworks for fitness for work, injury management, rehabilitation, and return-to-work processes, ensuring alignment with organisational strategies.
* Oversee compliance and performance by monitoring workers' compensation claims, systems, and practices against legislative and policy requirements.
* Coordinate case management and stakeholder engagement, maintaining effective communication between injured employees, managers, insurers, and health providers to support recovery plans.
* Design and manage rehabilitation programs, including identifying suitable duties and facilitating redeployment to enable successful return-to-work outcomes.
* Lead health and wellbeing initiatives, contributing to projects and reporting that promote workforce capability and support organisational objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Confident professional with a Diploma in Personal Injury and Disability Insurance Management or a Certificate IV, with at least two years of relevant experience.
Current accreditation as a Return-to-Work Coordinator along with a valid driver's licence.
Strong case management skills, including problem-solving, conflict resolution, and the ability to negotiate and mediate to achieve sustainable outcomes.
Highly organised and proactive, working independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
Exceptional communication skills, allowing you to research, analyse, and provide clear advice on return-to-work and workplace health and safety matters.
