**About the role**
In your role as a Sales and Retention Specialist with the Inbound team, you will provide a tailored and exceptional experience for potential, new & existing members of ahm private health insurance. Every call you take will be a unique experience, one driven by ensuring we deliver exceptional customer service, effecting questioning to find out what the customer really needs. Don't stress about needing to know the ins and outs of health insurance, we will get you up to speed with great on the job training that runs for 10 weeks.
This is a full-time permanent position. You will be working on a rotating roster anywhere between the hours of 9am and 6:30pm (AEST) across Monday to Friday (no weekend work.bonus)
This role is predominantly working from home with the flexibility to go into the head office when required.

- Sales or retention experience preferably along with working towards KPIs
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to quickly build rapport and convey empathy over the phone
- Skills in objection and complaint handling
- Ability to take on feedback and use it to build upon and improve performance
- Adaptability to change - change is positive and what keeps us moving in the right direction
- Problem solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying potential issues
- Strong computer skills & the ability to work across a range of computer systems along with picking up new systems quickly

You will have a reliable and fast broadband service (NBN or ADSL) & be confident in using various IT software. All necessary equipment for the role will be provided by ahm.
**_Please note: Assessment Centres will be taking place between Tuesday 27th June and Thursday 29th June. The start date for this role will be Monday 31st of July and full attendance is required for your 10 weeks of training._**
