We are looking for a Cert III qualified person with at least 6 months experience in a similar role, to join the Silverchain team in the Morisset area.

We're Looking For
Enjoy having variety in your day.
Passionate about providing an excellent service.
Can build positive relationships with clients and their families.
Don't sweat the small stuff – can stay calm when a client has a bad day or traffic delays.
Comfortable working independently and finding solutions, knowing when to ask for help.
Has a valid Australian driver's licence and an own insured, road-worthy vehicle.
Certificate III or above in Aged Care, Individual Support or Disability.
Experience of at least 6 months in a similar role, including personal care, manual handling, hoist training and assisting with medications.
The Role
As a Care Worker, you will provide aged care clients with home help services such as:
General housekeeping and making beds.
Cleaning, mopping, vacuuming floors.
Washing, folding, ironing laundry.
Meal preparation and grocery shopping.
And personal care services such as:
Getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed for the day.
Assisting clients to take their medications.
Assisting with mobility and therapy goals.
Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia.
Providing social and emotional support.
Providing the client with transport to lifestyle activities or appointments.
Helping the family carer to have a break or an opportunity to do other things.
