As a reputable and well-established Financial Planning Practice, the company specializes in delivering a professional service and comprehensive financial advice to a diverse client base located across Canberra and the surrounding region.
With a dedicated team of Financial Advisers and support staff, the practice is seeking to appoint an experienced Paraplanner/Associate Adviser to work closely with the Senior Adviser after an internal promotion.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing Statements of Advice (SOAs) and associated documentation within required timeframes, supporting the broader advisory team, and contributing to a high-quality client experience. You will have the opportunity to participate in client meetings and assist with the research and preparation of compliant financial advice.
Your position will include:
* Prepare compliant, strategically complex Statements of Advice.
* Prepare detailed financial modelling.
* Liaise with advisers and their teams to gather information, clarify requirements, and build advice.
* Provide technical advice on legislation, strategy and products to the team.
* Drive efficiency by updating the ROA/SOA template system and processes.
* Work alongside internal stakeholders and Client Services team.
We are seeking:
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial information.
* Outstanding written and numeracy skills, along with strong attention to detail.
* Strong technical knowledge across all areas of advice including Super & Retirement Planning, Wealth Creation and Centrelink.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel.
* Tertiary qualification will be highly regarded.
