Overview: The Services Assistant plays a vital role in delivering timely, efficient, and effective services to the Port Lincoln Health Service. This includes catering and cleaning duties such as food preparation, service, delivery to clients, and general housekeeping tasks. Additionally, the Services Assistant may be tasked with general laundry duties as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and serve meals and snacks to patients and staff.
* Conduct cleaning and housekeeping duties within the unit.
* Assist with laundry tasks as required.
* Maintain hygiene standards and safety protocols.
* Support other administrative tasks as instructed by the management.
Qualifications & Requirements:
* Previous experience in a health or hospitality setting is an advantage.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work flexibly and adapt to evolving duties.
* Mandated to undertake a satisfactory Criminal History Check.
* Must meet appropriate immunisation requirements, including Category A vaccination policy compliance.
* Eligible for National Police Certificate for positions involving contact with vulnerable groups.
