About the role
The role of the Circulation Analyst is to provide support to the circulation team, as well as manage a small portfolio of titles for internal and external stakeholders. This is a junior role within the team, supporting the Circulation & Insights Managers and the Financial Planning & Analysis Team.
The key purpose of the role is to not only ensure right product, right place and right time but to provide sales reporting and insights on print performance.
We're looking for a detail-driven, analytically minded Analyst to help understand, grow and optimise our audience. In this role, you'll turn raw data into meaningful insights, ensure our circulation operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Duties
* Analyse historical data to predict future performance of print products
* Use scan data from retail channels to forecast print sales of current issues
* Prepare and send weekly and monthly sales reports, ensuring data is accurate and up to date
* ROI analysis of promotional activity
* General analysis of print distribution and sales as needed by circulation team
* Map data accurately between systems on a weekly basis, matching on sale dates and issue details accurately
* Gather cover images for all Are Media print products for insertion into database and reports
* Manage new product set ups and changes to on sale dates, barcodes, pricing etc.
* Maintain documentation of processes
* Support Head of Financial Planning & Analysis and Circulation & Insights Managers with ad-hoc tasks and reporting
* Manage bulk copy sales and special order deliveries
* Work with marketing, finance, production, and retail sales team on communications from the circulation team
* Work with IT & Distribution teams to troubleshoot data or delivery issues
