**Club Demonstration Services (CDS) **is the preferred in-house product demonstration service provider to **Costco **_**(think-Costco Samples).**_
**Position Description**
- **We are looking for Casual Sales Advisors to work with us at Costco - Bundamba/Ipswich, QLD for an immediate start**_
**The Role**
As a Sales Advisor, you are responsible for generating brand awareness and increase product sales through:
- Generate excitement, brand awareness and **INCREASE PRODUCT SALES **through event sampling and promotions;
- Prepare and market vendor products (food and non-food)
- Provide members samples and/or information on product
- Display product and explain features and benefits
- Answer member questions and continuously engage and communicate with members regarding product,
- Encourage members to purchase event product by providing helpful hints and uses of product;
- Setup and breakdown of event area,
- Preparation of product samples on scheduled event days
- **Work Experience**:previous experience in retail/grocery, sales, restaurant/food service, hospitality, and/or event marketing is helpful but not required; **you must have the ability to stand for the duration of the shift (usually 6 hours)**:
- **Willing to work on a rotating roster and weekends as required.**:
- **Kitchen Equipment Skills**:basic knowledge and use of kitchen equipment such as microwaves, ovens, skillets, etc.
- **Communication Skills**:
- **Time Management & Organizational Skills**:flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and assignments; ability to maintain confidentiality; ability to multi-task during the event.
- Primarily in a warehouse which will require working with temperature variations of hot and/or cold
- Hospitality/Retail experience is highly regarded but not essential
- RSA certification highly regarded
**Work Eligibility**:
- Valid working rights/visa
- Must be above 18 years of age
**Job Type**: Casual
**Salary**: $21.28 - $36.72 per hour
Schedule:
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability
Supplemental pay types:
- Penalty rates
