Overview
Our client is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead a team of Account Executives and Business Development Representatives, driving pipeline generation and managing opportunities from prospecting through to closure. This role is focused on small-to-medium law firms and corporate organisations.
The successful candidate will be an experienced sales leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, capable of motivating and developing high-performing teams while delivering consistently on revenue and growth targets.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Small-Market Account Executives and BDRs, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
- Set and monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual team and individual sales targets.
- Review and coach team activities, including call audits, to continually improve sales skills.
- Drive forecasting and pipeline management to meet revenue objectives.
- Maintain high levels of motivation and engagement to minimise attrition.
- Implement processes to ensure transparency and visibility of team activity, progress, and results for senior leadership.
- Support and guide the team through the full sales cycle – from lead generation to deal closure.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- 2–3 years of formal sales leadership experience.
- Strong background in software sales.
- Experience with sales tools such as Salesloft, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Cognism.
- Strong understanding of the legal market and/or managing large geographic sales territories.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Results-driven mindset with proven ability to meet and exceed targets.
- Must be based within 50km of Sydney, NSW.
