Position Summary
As a Service Desk Engineer (IT Support Technician), you will provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support, resolving hardware, software, and network issues for internal users.
You will play a key role in maintaining efficient IT operations, supporting users across multiple systems, and ensuring smooth day-to-day technology performance.
The role requires strong experience with Microsoft systems (Azure AD, Intune, PowerShell) and a solid understanding of IT support best practices.
Occasional on-site support may be required.
Key Duties & Essential Functions
Technical Support: Provide phone, email, and ticket-based support for hardware, software, and network issues.
User Management: Administer Active Directory, Azure AD, and Microsoft Intune for user and device management.
Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot issues with Windows/macOS, Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, VPN, etc.
Escalation: Escalate complex issues and follow up for resolution.
Collaboration: Work with internal teams to improve service delivery and share knowledge.
Documentation: Record troubleshooting steps, solutions, and procedures in the ticketing system.
Projects: Lead or assist with IT projects and improvements.
Qualifications
2–3 years' experience in IT support or technical troubleshooting.
Preferred certifications: Microsoft Azure Administrator, Windows Server, or CompTIA Security+.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
Proficient in Windows/macOS environments and networking fundamentals.
Skilled in PowerShell scripting, Active Directory, Intune, and Office 365 suite.
Experience with SharePoint, Teams, OKTA, and Remote Desktop Services.
Strong analytical, communication, and customer service skills.
Additional Information
Occasional travel and on-site support may be required.
