About the role
The Regional Manager will conduct the sign-up process of Australian Apprentices (AA) in person (face-to-face) in the workplace providing consistent and accurate information about their apprenticeship, conditions, rights, obligations for both parties under the Training Contract, advice on appropriate qualifications and relevant approved training providers.
The Regional Manager will ensure the appropriateness of the apprenticeship arrangements, including determining the appropriate qualification for the apprenticeship and assist AAs and employers to understand and complete the Training Contract and access support services to improve AA completion rates.
About you
This position is ideal for an organised individual who can work independently, excel in a busy environment, and build rapport with internal and external stakeholders. Preferred qualifications include:
* Experience and understanding of the Australian Apprenticeship System (preferred but not essential).
* Proven ability to connect with the business community and stakeholders.
* Client service experience.
* Business development experience (highly regarded).
* Strong communication, liaison, and networking skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office and external computer-based databases.
* Ability to interpret Government guidelines and VET legislation.
* Applicants based in Bairnsdale, Sale, Lakes Entrance considered
The successful candidate will be provided with the required tools to perform the role including a mobile phone allowance, laptop and vehicle, in addition to a competitive salary.
