About the Role
* Manage, plan, and coordinate scaffold and work at height activities without supervision
* Provide specialist technical advice and coordination for scaffold, access and work at heights (WAH) systems across projects from tender through to delivery which meet JH quality, safety and risk requirements
* Implement and manage JH Temporary Works Design Process and systems
* Identify and manage safety, compliance and constructability risks associated with scaffold, access and WAH systems across engineering lifecycle
* Undertake reviews of scaffold and access designs prepared by subcontractors and consultants including methodologies and constructability to ensure safe, consistent, practical and compliant solutions
* Provide technical input into bids, reviewing scaffold and access methodologies, scope, programme, risk and cost considerations
* Influence and support engineering functions and project teams in planning, designing, procuring, installing and using scaffold and access systems, including complex and high‐risk configurations
* Drive the application of best practice, innovation and continuous improvement in scaffold and access systems across projects
* Contribute to and implement the group Temporary Works strategy within specialist domain (Scaffold, Access, WAH) on complex and high‐risk projects
* Apply commercial and contractual awareness in dealing with clients, contractual requirements, subcontractors and external designers to manage scope, programme and budgets when working with project teams
* Develop and facilitate scaffold, work at height, supervision and temporary works training sessions
* Support capability development through training, mentoring, toolbox talks and active contribution to the Temporary Works Community of Practice
* Support HSE operations, GMR‐7 high risk safety audits and incident investigations
Qualifications
* Relevant trade qualification and a High Risk Work Licence for Advanced Scaffolding
* Strong experience working with scaffold, access and work at heights, including major and complex projects across a range of construction environments
* Extensive knowledge of Australian Standards, industry requirements and Codes of Practice for scaffold, access, edge protection and WAH systems
* Experience reviewing scaffold and access methodologies and identifying risks to support safe and practical outcomes
* Experience working with subcontractors and ensuring compliance with approved methodologies, safety requirements and Temporary Works governance
* Proficiency with digital tools such as Navisworks, Revizto and Bluebeam
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
