Personal Banking Advisor - Smithton Service Centre, TAS

Responsibilities

- Be part of our ambition to be our customers’ #1 bank and partner through life.
- Engage with business and retail customers in-person and over the phone to uncover needs and provide tailored banking solutions.
- Assist customers with identity verification, cash access through Smart ATMs, personal and business lending, and fraud and scam support.
- Contribute to a welcoming, customer-focused service experience at the Smithton Regional Service Centre (opening early 2026; training starts October 2025 in Burnie, TAS).

Work Arrangements

This is a full-time, branch-based role with hours across Monday to Friday. Training begins October 2025 in Burnie, TAS; Smithton opening is planned for early 2026.

What you’ll need

- Customer service and sales experience, ideally in a customer-facing or phone-based role with experience meeting targets.
- Resilience and the ability to stay calm and composed in challenging situations.
- Comfort with working toward sales/referral targets and calling customers over the phone.
- Numerical capability, cash handling experience, and the ability to complete financial transactions accurately.
- An energetic personality with a genuine passion for helping people.
- The willingness to learn and adapt to new banking procedures and technologies.
