The Role
They are seeking a Backend Software Engineer to join their agile development team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of backend best practices and a track record of delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Architect, build, and maintain backend systems that enhance functionality and user experience
* Implement automated testing to ensure platform stability and reliability
* Collaborate with engineering peers to design, release, and support new features
* Take ownership of services and code in production environments
* Manage and optimise relational databases for performance and scalability
Ideal Experience
* Minimum 3 years experience in backend software development
* Strong proficiency with Node.js
* Experience with NestJS
* Solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and backend development best practices
* Experience working in Unix/Linux environments
