Office Administrator – Construction Industry

MAYDAY Recruitment is currently seeking an Office Administrator to join a growing construction organisation based in Silverwater.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build their career within administration. The team are not looking for someone overly experienced – they're looking for the right attitude, strong work ethic and someone who is eager to learn and grow within the business.
The role will initially commence as a 3-month temporary assignment, with the view to transition permanently for the right person.
Role Details
Location: Silverwater – fully office based
Hours: Monday–Friday (full-time)
Rate: $37/hr + Super
Duration: 3-month temp to perm opportunity
Environment: Construction / operations environment
Key Responsibilities
• General office administration and day-to-day support duties
• Completing onboarding documentation for new starters
• Raising purchase orders for PPE and related site requirements
• Assisting senior staff with ad hoc administrative tasks
• Maintaining records, documents and internal systems
• Supporting wider office operations as required
Ideal Candidate
• Previous administration experience preferred but not essential
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team environment
• High attention to detail and good organisational skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Looking for long-term growth and development opportunities
• Full working rights in Australia required
