All Hallows' School, a Catholic Mercy school for girls from Years 5–12, is seeking to appoint an AV Technician Assistant to join our community.
The AV Technician Assistant is part of a collaborative team, working under the direction of the Senior Audio Visual Technician. The AV Technician Assistant will provide organisational assistance in the day-to‐day operations of the ICT Department focusing on AV Support.
This role is a full‐time, permanent position. There may be occasions the need for after hours support.
Key Duties
* Provide hands‐on AV and technical support in a dynamic school environment
* Help keep the School's sound, lighting and display systems performing at their best
* Play an important role in school events, performances and examinations
* Be part of a collaborative ICT team delivering reliable, responsive support
Role Requirements
* Hold and maintain a current Queensland Working with Children Clearance (Blue Card).
* Have approval to work in Australia.
* Hold a diploma in Technical Production or Music/Audio Production, or have at least one year of experience working as an AV tech in a live event or educational environment.
* Hold a current Working at Heights accreditation.
* Hold or be willing to obtain and maintain any other clearances, qualifications or registrations required to perform the inherent requirements of the role.
* Demonstrate a commitment to the values and ethos of Catholic education in the Mercy tradition.
